JANA Partners, LLC filed a 13D amendment reporting that it increased its holdings of Convergys Corp. from 12,221,975 shares (9.90%) to 13,786,675 shares (11.30%). JANA reported purchasing 605,000 shares between August 25, 2008 and August 26, 2008 for prices ranging between $14.38 and $14.49 per share, bringing their aggregate average cost per share to $15.75. JANA initially filed its 13D report on July 25, 2008 and stated that it reserves its right to take steps to bring about changes to increase shareholder value which may include changes in the board composition, strategy and future plans of the Company.
